Mrs Ellis, High Street, Boroughbridge, has been officially informed that her third son, Private T H Ellis, West Yorkshire Regiment, who was reported wounded and missing in August, 1916, was killed on that date. Private Ellis, who was 28 years of age, joined the Army in April, 1916, and went abroad in July.
