Private William Thackray Haxby, KOYLI, eldest son of William Haxby, Ashville, Hampsthwaite, Harrogate, was killed in action in France on the 3rd May, 1917. He was previously wounded in France in September, and was drafted back to France on February 20th. He was 21 years on the 11th April.
