Private William Holmes

Roll of Honour

William Holmes, 11 Myrtle Square, Harrogate, has received official news that his son, Private William Holmes (West Yorks Regt), has been wounded, and was admitted to the 20th General Hospital, Camiers, France, suffering from contusion of the right foot. He joined the Army February 22nd, and went to France May 22nd this year. Mr Holmes's eldest son, CSM J Holmes (West Yorks), was killed on October 14th, 1916; also, his son-in-law on Easter Monday this year.
