Mrs Howieson, York Place, Knaresborough, has received a letter from the Matron at a clearing hospital stating that her husband, Private Adam Howieson (Cameron Highlanders), had died of wounds sustained in action on the 11th inst. Private Howieson, who was previously employed by William Berry, High Street, as a watchmaker and jeweller, had been with the forces two years. He was a typical Scottie, and had made many friends in Knaresborough and district.
