War Notes

Lieutenant T Kennedy, Canadian Mounted Rifles, has been gazetted Captain. Captain Kennedy is son-in-law of Mr and Mrs J Holmes, High Bondend, Knaresborough, and was employed in the town before he proceeded to the Dominion, where he commenced business on his own account as painter and decorator. Subsequently he obtained a commission in the Canadian Mounted Rifles, and came overseas. Captain Kennedy has been in several engagements, including the big battle for Passchendaele Ridge.
