Roll of Honour

News was received on Thursday morning that Private H Leeming (Duke of Wellington's) has been wounded, and is now in hospital in France. The chaplain, writing to his sister, says : Your brother has been wounded, and is here; he is writing to you soon, and I can assure you that everything possible is being done for him.

Leeming, who has been in service both in the Dardenelles and France, was at home on leave three weeks ago.

Private Harry Leeming, of Bridgehousegate, Pateley Bridge, of the Duke of Wellington's, has died in London from wounds. The interment will take place at Pateley Bridge today (Saturday) at 2.30pm. An effort is being made to secure the service of soldiers from the Ripon Camp for the interment.
