Driver A C Leek and Driver George Lonsdale write : 

As things are dull out here we should be pleased if you could send us along the Harrogate paper, just to let us have a little news of the old town. We have come across a few Harrogate boys, and they have advised us to write to you for the above; and if it is not too much asking you to recommend to us a kind lady or gentleman to spare us a couple of razors, as one of our comrades has taken a fancy to ours and left us stranded. Trusting you will give us an early reply and wishing your paper every success.
