Lieutenant Colonel S S Mallinson

Military Honours

Lieutenant Colonel Mallinson, MC, RE, son of Mr William Mallinson, JP, of The Limes, Walthamstow, and son-in-law of the Rev Alfred Soothill, BA, Principal of Ashville College, Harrogate, has had conferred upon him the additional honour of the DSO. Colonel Mallinson has been serving in France with the Forces since September, 1914, at first with the HAC in the fierce fighting around Ypres, later with the RE, in which he now holds control over forestry work for the front line. He is an old boy of Ashville College, Harrogate
