Mr & Mrs H Maltby, High Street, Knaresborough, received intimation from the War Office on Thursday of their son, Lance Corporal R H Maltby, having been killed in action on May 3rd. Lance Corporal Maltby was formerly in the Scots Greys, and was transferred to the Royal Scots Regiment. before joining the colours he was in the office of Messrs Powell, Son, and Eddison, solicitors, of Harrogate and Knaresborough.
