Rifleman Thomas Marshall, son of Mr Thomas Marshall, late Station Square, Pateley Bridge, was killed in action on November 24th, 1917.

The death is reported in action, on November 24th, of Rifleman Tom Marshall (King's Royal Rifles). His parents, Mr and Mrs Marshall (formerly of Station Square, Pateley Bridge) live at St Stephen's Road, West Bowling, Bradford, receiving the information on the 21st ult. Marshall was an old Wakefield Grammar School Boy, and was employed in the Education Department at the County Hall until November, 1915, when at the age of 19 he enlisted in the King's Royal Rifles, going to France in July, 1917.
