W H Breare letter
Mrs Newton, of Inglewood, The Grove, Harcourt Road, Harrogate, received on Tuesday evening, November 27th, a telegram saying that
Captain Newton, of the Royal Fusiliers, was admitted to St John's Hospital, Etaples, on November 26th, with accidental gunshot wound in the knee. The communication added that his hurt was but slight. Perhaps you will know him, therefore be glad to have this news.
