Roll of Honour

Second Lieutenant Alan F Parker (West Yorks Regt attached East Lancs) is in hospital at Havre suffering from contusion of the foot. He is the second son of Mr J E and Mrs Parker, of Hillcrest, Ripon, and was educated at the Ripon Grammar School. Later he spent four and a half years in Canada, engaging principally in the engineering department of the Canadian Pacific Railway. On the outbreak of war he joined the Winnipeg Light Infantry, and on coming over to England obtained a commission in the West Yorks. His eldest brother, Lieutenant E T Parker, was killed just two years ago in Gallipoli.
