Mr & Mrs F Simpson, 37 Providence Terrace, Harrogate, have received intimation from the Record Office at Shrewsbury that their son, Private J W Simpson (Lancs), was wounded in action on the 23rd April. The Army Council express their sympathy and regret with the parents.
