Roll of Honour

Harry Tilford, brother of Mrs Shipman, 28 Willow Grove, Bilton, Harrogate, and youngest son of the late Mr & Mrs Robert Tilford, of Harrogate, was killed in action on August 14th. Before he was called up he was a missionary in Canada. Formerly he was a Sunday School Teacher an sang in Christ Church Choir. Before emigrating to the Dominion, he married Miss Steel, of Harrogate, the wedding taking place at St Luke's Church. When he was called up he joined the Canadian Regiment. He leaves a widow and one child.
