Company Sergeant Major Morris Treves

Harrogate Herald - 25th April 1917

Military Wedding

An interesting wedding took place at the Parish Church, on Wednesday. Both bride and bridegroom are well-known in the district. The bride was Miss Marjorie Neilstone Howie, eldest daughter of Inspector Howie, and the bridegroom, who was formerly associated with Ellesmere Port, was Company Quartermaster-Sergeant Frank Curtis, of the Yorkshire Regiment.

His home is at Harrogate, and he is now stationed at Rugeley. The best man was Sergeant Major Morris Treves, of Ripon, serving with the same regiment as the bridegroom. [More details followed]
