Chats with the Wounded in Hospital

Pte Thomas Walker, of the Durham Light Infantry, is in the Grove House Hospital with shrapnel wounds in the knee. This was at Contalmaison during the Somme battle, and they had gone over the top, when Walker was hit. The leg is stiff, but, save that, he is doing well.
