Second Lieutenant Cecil Wellesley Ward, RFA, elder son of the Rev George Nussey Ward, of Harrogate, has been killed in action. After serving his articles with Messrs Cowling and Swift, solicitors, York, he was for 15 years with the firm of Messrs Derbyshire, Tatham, and Worthington, Manchester, leaving them to become a junior partner in he York firm with whom he served his articles. He was home on leave a fortnight ago.
