Harrogate Advertiser - 3rd January 1920

A trophy of the late war is expected to arrive for Boroughbridge by rail during the week in the shape of a 6in howitzer on its carriage weighing about 2½ tons. This gun has been given to Boroughbridge in recognition of the valour of Captain A T C White, Victoria Cross.
