W H Breare letter

I have had a letter from Mrs Beckett, of 11 Denmark Street, informing me that her brother, Private G R White, 235601, 13th Yorks Regiment, 7th Army Corps School, A POS, 71 BEF, France, has been missing since November 23rd. she would be glad of news concerning him. Her other brother, T White, has been missing since August. You will see a photo of the first-named, if not today very shortly.

Harrogate Herald - 20th February 1918

Mrs W B Beckett, of 11 Denmark Street, Harrogate, has received a letter from her brother, Lance Corporal G B White, Yorkshire Regiment, who was reported missing on November 23rd last, and is now a prisoner in Munden, Westphalia, Germany. He joined the Army before he was 17, and went into the Yorkshire Dragoons, but on attaining 19 he was transferred to the infantry. He was captured in France.
