Expressing thanks for his Pateley Bridge and Nidderdale Herald, G Wray says : Where I am stationed at present we have had very little English news for a fortnight, and it has come in very useful and interesting. There are only about fifteen of us, and we send it round. I always like to read the local news. We are just taking over a new front, so I hope it will be a success, and that the job won't last so long, so that we may all be back to our homes again.
