Private Thomas Young

 
 

Claro Times - 6th January 1915

The first Wetherby man to be killed in the war is Private Thomas Young, of the 2nd West Yorkshires, who has served some years in the Army in India and at Malta. He was 34 years of age, and lived with his parents in Fox Yard, Wetherby. On Thursday his parents received an intimation that he had been killed in France on December 12th.
