To my daughter Mary Thompson, wife of Thomas Thompson, £200.
To my daughter Ann Cullingworth, wife of Griffith
Cullingworth, £200.
To my daughter Jane Benson, wife of Thomas Benson, £200.
To my daughter Hannah Hardcastle, widow of William
Hardcastle, £200.
All the above to be paid out of the money that Amos Bake of Dacre owes me.
I give the house and land at Menwith Hill (late the property of John
Demain), now occupied by John Skirray and John
Kendil, to my daughter Dinah Winterburn, wife of Henry
Winterburn, and at her death to her children.
I give the piece of land called The Carr at Menwith with Darley, occupied by myself, to my daughter
Elizabeth Clint, along with all the furniture and household goods. Should she die before me then the same to my son-in-law
Thomas Thompson and John Skaife of Dacre, Linen Manufacturer, Upon Trust to sell and divide amongst my five daughters
Ann, Mary, Jane, Hannah, and Dinah.
I appoint my daughter Elizabeth and my Trustees as executors.
