Harrogate Herald - 24th November 1915

13th November 1915 : I now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you, thanking you for the Herald, also your kindness in including me on the list to receive same every week. It is a pleasure to read of your pals and see the photos of those you have not seen for a long time. I am sorry to say I have not come across anyone I know as yet to have a chat with. We are at present having a great amount of rain, and it does rain here. We have been kept every night and day on our convey with the wounded. Well, you know it is work that must be duly carried out. Now I am pleased to say I am keeping in the best of health, hoping you keep the same. Wishing you and your paper the best of luck and every success to yourself.
