Harrogate Herald - 23rd December 1942

Mr Robert Francis Folley, only son of Mr and Mrs R W Folley, Merton Park, Harrogate, and Miss Evelyn Mavis Smith, only daughter of Mrs Smith, Merle Dene, Park Edge, Harrogate, and the late Mr Charles F Smith, were married on Saturday at Christ Church, Harrogate, by the Rev L Aylmer-Kelly (senior curate).

In the absence of her brother, Lieutenant Charles Neville Smith, who is serving abroad, the bride was given away by Major E Baines.
