I have great pleasure in writing these few lines to your paper, the Herald, which I have read for some time and find the articles very interesting whilst over here. Your letters to the boys on active service are very interesting and cheering. It is very difficult to but Gillette blades for my safety razor; in fact, we are somewhere where we cannot get a supply, and belonging to a well-known family of Harrogate I thought if I mentioned it to you our wants would be fulfilled.
