Harrogate Herald - 2nd January 1918
Chats with the Wounded
Lance Corporal Baxter, of the Essex Regiment, is in the
Beaulieu Hospital suffering from the effects of trench feet
contracted on the Western Front. This is due to exposure and wet. He
is receiving the Harrogate treatment, of which he speaks highly and
says the treatment could not be better. The staff at the Beaulieu
Hospital were kindness itself, and everything possible was done to
make the boys comfortable.
