Harrogate Herald - 18th April 1917
G Bowling writes :
Just a few lines again to thank you for the Herald, which is very
interesting to read, as where I am now we get no papers nor no news,
so you can see we appreciate the old paper. I have not seen any of
the old boys yet, but now we are on the move I shall be dropping
across some of them, as the West Yorks are not so far away. I saw a
letter from my brother Billy. I would like to drop across him. We
might do soon. I had a letter from my old chum A Ireland, whom I
left behind me down the line. He is A1. I only hope we all shall
meet again soon in Blighty. Wishing Mrs and Mr Breare the best of
health, also the staff.
