Harrogate Herald - 30th May 1917
Gunner E Bragg writes :
We have been pretty busy keeping the Hun on the run. I was out on
rest and met a lot of the Harrogate boys in the Yorkshire Hussars.
It did one good to see the old faces again. I think they have had a
pretty brisk time, same as all of us. I am looking forward to being
back in Harrogate again once more, and I don't think that will be
long; in fact, I don't mind saying if I am in the firing line in
September it will surprise me. I think we will have finished with
him before then. Wishing you all at the office the very best of luck
and a speedy return to us all. PS - I find a lot of addresses of
Harrogate girls in the cartridge boxes.
