Harrogate Herald - 8th December 1915

Mr and Mrs J G Murray, of Thornton-le-Street, entertained on Saturday, at the Hotel Majestic, 55 wounded soldiers from the Royal Bath Hospital to tea. After tea, the soldiers had games of cards, draughts, etc., and each was given chocolate, cigarettes, and cigars before leaving. Lieutenant Brook (Australia) gave two recitations.
