Chats with the Wounded in Hospital
Sgt Brown, of the North Lancashires, is in the Grove House
Hospital with the loss of a leg. He sustained the loss during the
retreat from Mons in the very early part of the war from shell fire.
He has since been in hospital at Leeds and Harrogate, and is now
able to get about on crutches. he speaks highly, as do the others,
of he treatment the men receive in hospital.
