Private Alfred Buck (Yorkshire Regiment) has been killed in action, on the 19th October, by shell fire. He was 19 years of age, and a brother of Mrs Fred Needham, of 2 Primrose Hill, New Park, Harrogate, whose husband was killed on the 27th September. He is one of seven brothers serving - one a prisoner of war, one in Mesopotamia, one in Salonica, one in hospital in France, one in Essex, and one killed 13th February. They are the sons of Mr J Buck, of Whixley.
