Harrogate Herald - 24th April 1918
W H Breare letter
A brother of Harry Burley, the singer, I hear this
morning, has been wounded in the face by shrapnel on the 10th inst.,
and is in the 2nd Western General Hospital, Clyne House, Stretford,
Manchester. I am hoping to get him transferred to Harrogate for the
sake of his old father and mother. He was of the Canadians, having
been in Canada a long time.
