Harrogate Herald - 10th April 1918
W H Breare
Private T Church, who is attached to a Labour
Company in Italy, gave me a call this afternoon. It was his first
leave after twenty months' service abroad, part of the time being
spent in France. He has no Harrogate men with him, but he has seen a
transport officer, Mr Webster, of Langcliffe Avenue, in
Italy, and also met during his movements Private Waddington,
who, I believe, lives at Starbeck; George Holmes, who resides
near the Bar Chapel; and Tom King, of Electric Avenue, New
Park. Church looked well, and said he had had good health
whilst serving, but a rough time lately, which we can all
understand.
