Roll of Honour
News has been received of the death in hospital, in France, on
March 7th, from pneumonia, of Shoeing-Smith Charles Clarkson,
cab proprietor, formerly of Harrogate. The deceased belonged to the
RFA, and had been 16 months on active service in France. His death
will be the more regretted owing to the fact he leaves a wife and
three children. Like many more he has made the great sacrifice, and
much sympathy will be felt for his family.
