J J Conning, of HMS Thunderer, says :
I am writing thanking you for the paper I received
safe. All the boys are getting on fine, and are waiting for the day
the German Fleet are going to pop their head out of Kiel, but it
does not look much like it. We have got too much of a fleet waiting
for them. Sorry shall have to close. Wishing you a merry Xmas and a
bright New Year.
