The Chaplain at 42 Stationary Hospital, Royal Air

"The loss of your dear boy must be a terrible
blow to you. Please accept my deepest sympathy. He was buried on
26th November, 1918, in our little military cemetery near Charmes,
on the edge of the forest among the flying boys. I know that you
will be as brave as he was, for his sake and his Master's. he will
be so glad to see you facing it like that. May God give you comfort
and strength and perhaps one day you will be able to thank Him that
the son you bore was among those who laid down his life for the
world".
