Harrogate Herald - 8th January 1919
H Breare letter
I want particularly to ask any returned prisoners from Germany,
and at the same time any of the boys in France, if they know
anything about Private T Darton, East Yorks, who has been
missing since April 25th last. His home is at 24 Gray Street,
Oatlands Mount, Harrogate, and he joined the Army four years ago. He
worked as a baker at Mrs Linfoot's, Parliament Street, prior to
enlisting. Nothing definite has been heard of him, and his wife
would be grateful for any information sent to the above address. He
had a heart with a dagger through it tattooed on one arm.
