Private Dyer

Harrogate Herald - 30th January 1918

Chats with the Wounded

Private Dyer, of the East Yorks Regiment, is now in the St George's Convalescent Home with shrapnel wound in the leg. He received it during an advance on the Western Front. They had attacked and got to the first line when he was hit. He heard that the attack was pressed home. Private Dyer was operated on in France, and on reaching this country went into St Thomas' Hospital in London, coming from there to Harrogate. He is going on well.
