Mrs Ellerker, of Castle Ings Road, Knaresborough, has received an intimation from the Record Office, London, that her husband, Private Fred R Ellerker, of the Machine Gun Corps, has been severely shell gassed, and was admitted to St John's Ambulance Brigade Hospital on the 30th December, 1917.
