Three Harrogate boys, Private J Fall, Private J H Robinson, and Private A Taylor, say : 

We wish you a happy Xmas, and the best of health, happiness, and prosperity; and many thanks for your interesting paper, the Herald (received weekly). Our Field Ambulance has done excellent work in various parts of the Front, since coming out last April, and am sure the brave infantry deserve all the attention we can and do give them. Am pleased to say we are A1, and up to now our unit has been very lucky as regards casualties. We have our exciting times like the rest, but it is all in the game.
