Private Bernard Fletcher, 13th Battalion, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, son of Mr and Mrs George Henry Fletcher, 7 Poplar Grove, Bilton, Harrogate, has been promoted to Lance Corporal. He was, prior to enlisting, assistant fireman at the North-Eastern Railway, Starbeck.
