Three more Starbeck men have been killed in action :

Private Stephen Foster, son of Mr Frank Foster, of 25 Bower Road, Starbeck, joined the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry about four years ago. He was on service in India when called up, and was killed in action on May 8th. He was 25 years of age.
