Harrogate Herald - 10th January 1917
Letters
Lance Corporal J Fryer writes :
Dear Mr Breare, Please excuse me for not writing
more frequent; I suppose you will when you know I am in hospital
with illness, but am pleased to say I am almost well again. We had a
very good time Christmas Day. The only thing I miss is the Herald,
which has not been forwarded on from my regiment. They have sent my
letters on but not the Herald, for what reason I don't know, so I
have not seen one for nearly a month. I expect going back to my old
address anytime now, so don't send the Herald to the address on this
letter. Thanking you for your kindness, and wishing you a bright and
prosperous New Year.
