Private Charles S Glasby, son of Mr W [William] H Glasby, 26 Albert Road, Bilton, joined the London Irish Rifles at the beginning of the war, and went to France in the middle of last month. He was one of 400 that joined from Messrs Cooks, Limited, the big wholesale house in St Paul's churchyard.
