Harrogate Herald - 8th December 1915
Lance Corporal Greenly, of the South Lancs Regiment, is in
the Royal Bath Hospital with shrapnel wounds in the right leg. They
were on the Arras front. They were a working party and were engaged
in making a dummy trench when a shrapnel shell exploded among the
seven who formed the party. Two were killed and five wounded, and
one of the latter succumbed later. Lance Corporal Greenly is
going on well.
