Mrs Hawkridge, of 26 Camwal Road, Starbeck, would be glad to hear news regarding her husband. Private J Hawkridge (West Yorks), of which she received official notice on the 18th May from the War Office that he was wounded on the 3rd May. A comrade who has been on leave said that Hawkridge was posted as missing in France. If any comrade saw him wounded and would communicate with his wife she would be very grateful.
