Harrogate Herald - 13th October 1915
Lieutenant Hoole, brother of the Rev Douglas Hoole
(who was curate at Christ Church and enlisted soon after the war
started, and the well-known cricketer), was gassed in the battle of
Loos and is now in a London hospital. He married a sister of
Lieutenant Greenwood, the Harrogate Old Boys' and Yorkshire player.
