Harrogate Herald - 12 December 1917
W H Breare letter
To Corporal Hopkinson :
I am awfully glad to say that you wife
has made known to me your want of some songs and music to play on
the piano which you have managed to hire. You may depend upon it. I
will do my best for you, and I think I shall have no difficulty in
sending the music, so look out for a coming post. I know you will
distribute it in the right quarter, and would only add by way of
encouragement; do all you can to provide the lads with music. There
is nothing so cheering.
