Harrogate Herald - 22nd August 1917
W H Breare letter
Gunner A Gledhill, of the RFA, has been in. he is the son of Mr T
W and Mrs Gledhill, 81 Mayfield Grove. The father used to drive for
the late Dr Atkinson. Gledhill at one time was one of the three
Harrogate men who were pals in the same unit. One of them, E
Johnson, of New Park, was killed at Messines. The other was Driver
G T Horner, who is all right. The latter's father was at one
time fireman at the Royal Baths. Gledhill was very well, and highly
enjoying his leave.
