Chats with the Wounded
Corporal Howard, of the Royal Fusiliers, is
in the Royal Bath Hospital suffering from chronic rheumatism. Corporal
Howard was in the South African War. After the present war broke
out he presented himself for enlistment, but was rejected three
times. He subsequently became one of Lord Kitchener's NCO's, and
after being out about twelve months he was invalided home. he is now
undergoing the treatment, and is making steady, if slow, progress.
